After the first commercial application of EMAT technology in 2006, a significant milestone was reached in December 2011, when overall EMAT inspected pipeline exceeded 10,000 km in length.
Operational growth for the first three years of use was 280%, and averaged about 25% during the last two years. As a result, we currently have an EMAT fleet ranging in size from 16 to 48 inches. In 2012, more EMAT inspection equipment will be added to the fleet, including EMAT Generation III.
Regions where primary implementation of EMAT "Crack Detection & Coating Disbondment" (RoCD EMAT-C Service) technology took place include the Middle East, North America, the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), Europe and South America. The first application in Australia is anticipated in 2012.
We would like to thank all employees for the achievement of this milestone, and we look forward to further growth of the ROSEN Group through successful deployment of EMAT technology.
