Perhaps automation and reducing human error goes hand in hand with reaching our Zero Incidents goal. Although the human element is vital to quality control, automation can not only increase productivity in general, but perhaps can also increase performance.

One example of automation that comes to mind is the ROSEN software package - AutoData™, which applies visual recognition algorithms to inspection data, identifying and clustering anomalies and installations while automatically eliminating false calls. Applied to MFL-A data, this software brings with it the opportunity to shorten the length of time required to analyze data and increase the overall accuracy of reporting.
