Calgary, AB, Canada, September, 2016 - Yet another highlight was introduced by ROSEN at this year’s IPC/IPE: ROSEN Education Systems and Services.
Calgary, AB, Canada, September, 2016 – At this year’s International Pipeline Conference and Exhibition (IPC/IPE), the ROSEN Group, headquartered in Stans, Switzerland, has introduced a new service that will address the industry’s need of demonstrable competence by offering training, education and qualification that is developed by practitioners for practitioners.
As the risks that aging assets present to the safety of people and environment are becoming more imminent, standards and regulations explicitly require that all personnel working on aging assets be competent and qualified in their respective fields of responsibility. The resulting challenge for operators is twofold: first, they must ensure their personnel are competent; second, they must ensure that their personnel’s competence is demonstrable.
Addressing this need, ROSEN Education Systems and Services develops structured learning programs that focus on the acquisition of different skillsets, subject knowledge, and practical experience. Education Systems and Services also provides the training courses, education programs, and qualifications needed to demonstrate competency. Experts in various areas of asset management design these learning programs and qualifications according to industry-specific requirements. A qualification panel consisting of independent industry authorities supervises and certifies the entire process.
ROSEN Education Systems and Services helps professionals acquire competence in their fields of expertise, and enables them to demonstrate this competence with a corresponding certificate from a reputable panel. Operators who give their employees access to these programs can be sure of a competence within their company.
