Calgary, AB, Canada, September, 2016 – At this year’s International Pipeline Conference and Exhibition (IPC/IPE), the ROSEN Group, headquartered in Stans, Switzerland, has introduced a new service that will address the industry’s need of demonstrable competence by offering training, education and qualification that is developed by practitioners for practitioners.

As the risks that aging assets present to the safety of people and environment are becoming more imminent, standards and regulations explicitly require that all personnel working on aging assets be competent and qualified in their respective fields of responsibility. The resulting challenge for operators is twofold: first, they must ensure their personnel are competent; second, they must ensure that their personnel’s competence is demonstrable.
