ROSEN was the gold sponsor and participated actively in the recent international Fixing Pipeline Problems Conference and Exhibition held in Berlin end of October 2014. The bi-annual event is organized by Clarion and Tiratsoo Technical, the two conference companies behind the famous PPIM event held every year in Houston.

The theme of the recently held conference in Berlin was the repair and rehabilitation of oil & gas transmission lines. It was the eighth time the event took place and the second time it was held at the ESTREL Hotel in Neukölln, in the eastern part of Berlin. About 100 delegates were present to listen to two days of interesting papers and presentations covering issues on coating materials, coating repair, repair sleeves, pipeline inspection, data management as well as pipeline welding techniques. Speakers came from around the world, including delegates from the US all the way to Russia.

ROSEN was present with a booth and with papers presented on the following topics: “A flexible data-acquisition system for the pipeline monitoring based on a cleaning tool application”, as well as the paper on “High-performance polyuria spray coatings: the next generation.”

Both papers were well accepted by the audience.
