ROSEN has opened its new logistics center in Lingen, Germany. The 2000 square meter building incorporating the latest automated storage and retrieval technologies now houses the warehouse and logistics department of the market leader in pipeline inspection and integrity services.
State of the art infrastructure including a Lean-Lift® automated storage system with a capacity for 3300 different articles ensure an optimized workflow and timely delivery to wherever components and spare parts are needed, all around the globe.
The investment confirms the commitment ROSEN has to being innovation leader in the industry. Company founder and president Hermann Rosen used the inauguration ceremony of the new building to re-emphasize the "Can Do"-philosophy embedded in the company values and stated: "This new logistics center further strengthens the importance of our Lingen location and is proof that we want to and will use our potential for further growth in the future".
Friedrich Hecker, CEO of the ROSEN Group since the beginning of this year, added that the customer benefit must be at the core of all company activities. Providing optimal working conditions for highly motivated staff were a driving factor for the conceptual design of this new logistics center in Germany.
The new logistics center forms part of the ROSEN facilities in Lingen, including research and development, tool manufacturing and ROSEN`s own polyurethane plant.
