Chemical Engineer and Data Scientist, ROSEN Group
Michael Smith is a chartered Chemical Engineer and Data Scientist with a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge. Within ROSEN, he leads the development of new asset integrity technologies, with a specific focus on 'Integrity Analytics' — the use of data analytics to support integrity management decisions. As a subject matter expert in post ILI corrosion growth assessment, Michael has contributed to numerous publications on corrosion growth rate estimation, optimization and prediction.
Veronica Andrea Dominguez
Senior Integrity Engineer, ROSEN Group
Veronica is a Senior Integrity Engineer at ROSEN. After earning her master’s degree in Material Engineer from the National University of Mar del Plata, Argentina, she worked 14 years for YPF and Repsol. At YPF, a national Argentinian oil and gas company, she was responsible for inspection and integrity planning and handled execution in refinery equipment, storage tank terminals, LPG storage plants and liquid transportation pipelines. In 2012, she moved to Tergo Engineering as an independent consultant associate, leading mechanical integrity projects of upstream, midstream and downstream oil and gas facilities, such as oil and gas pipelines, refinery process plants and E&P facilities. She joined ROSEN in 2018 with more than 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, holding certificates in risk-based inspection API 580 and API Inspector 653, 510, 570.
Alejandro Reyes
Integrity Management Software Product Manager, ROSEN Group
Alejandro Reyes is responsible for the strategy, lead and development of integrity management software at ROSEN. He received a Bachelor of Science in Mechatronics Engineering from the Nueva Granada University in Colombia. Previously, he has worked in the automotive industry and in an incubator for technology start-ups as technical advisor and coach for entrepreneurs. Since 2007, he is working in the oil and gas industry with a special focus on the automation and standardization of business processes and integrity engineering processes worldwide. He currently co-chairs the In-Line Inspection Group at the PODS Organization.
Andrew Wilde
Principal Engineer, ROSEN Group
Andrew is a Principal Engineer based in ROSEN’s office in Newcastle, UK and manages a team of over 40 integrity engineers who provide integrity consultancy support to clients worldwide. Andrew has a mechanical engineering background and has been working in the field of pipeline integrity for 20 years, specializing in post in-line inspection integrity assessment.
Steve Cromwell
Chartered Engineer, ROSEN Group
Steve is a Chartered Engineer with over twelve years’ pipeline integrity management related experience with extensive knowledge in the development of pipeline rehabilitation programs. Certified by the Institute of Asset Management, Steve has a thorough knowledge of industry best practice and international regulatory trends and has worked with a number operators around the world with support in the development, implementation and review of pipeline integrity management systems.

Ryan Gane
Head of Business Line NDT Diagnostics in U.S., ROSEN Group
Ryan Gane has worked for ROSEN for over 10 years in the storage tank and terminal piping integrity management group. He has performed inspections and organized inspection projects utilizing advanced inspection technologies. He holds API certificates 653, 570 and 580.
Osorio Goncalves
Principal Engineer, ROSEN Group
Osorio has a Bachelor’s in Metallurgy and Materials Engineering from UENF, Brazil in 1998 and a Master‘s in Advanced Mechanical Engineer from Imperial College London in 2007. He joined Petrobras in 2001 and worked for 17 years in Petrobras Transportes (TRANSPETRO) dedicated to inspection, integrity assessment and management of pipelines and fixed equipment holding technical and managerial positions in the terminals and in the headquarters. At TRANSPETRO, was responsible for developing and implementing strategies for the integrity management of pipelines susceptible to SCC including prioritization, direct assessment, ILI, defect assessments and repair methods and criteria. For almost two years, Osorio works as a Principal Engineer in ROSEN Integrity Services, Crack Management in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK, leading integrity management projects for pipelines with cracking issues in Europe and South America.
Rhett Dotson
Principal Engineer, ROSEN Group
Rhett Dotson has worked as a consultant in the oil and gas industry for 15 years. Rhett has developed technical expertise in analysis and testing for structural components and pipeline systems. His work with offshore systems has included strength and fatigue analysis performed on topsides and subsea components. His work with pipeline systems has included assessment and engineering support for anomalies such as dents and wrinkle bends in vintage pipeline systems as well as accident investigations due to third-party damage in both onshore and offshore pipeline systems. Rhett has also served as an expert witness for a pipeline operator involving settlement-related issues. Recent structural work has included the analysis and remediation of damaged natural gas pipelines and the determination of in-place pipeline strains based on survey data and finite element calculations.
Mark Wright
Principal Integrity and Risk Engineer, ROSEN Group
Mark is a principal integrity/risk engineer with 16 years industrial experience in oil, gas and chemical process industries. Specializing in design, implementation and operation of asset and risk management programs, Mark has provided a range of programmatic solutions for pipelines and related facilities for a range of international operators.
