Naturally, in the winter season the demand for natural gas rises as private homes and enterprises need to turn up the heating to keep the temperature comfortable. As a reliable energy provider, our customer Gazprom Transgaz Stavropol initiates servicing operations on a regular basis before the temperature drops in eastern Europe.
The ROSEN Group is in charge to support cleaning and in-line inspection of the thousands of kilometers of the natural gas transportation pipelines. This is extremely important to ensure a safe and reliable delivery through the transportation network. Gas pipelines need to be in good condition and therefore need a certain amount of maintenance through their whole lifespan. ROSEN delivers solutions to ensure the uninterrupted energy supply in the cold russian winter.

As first step, a ROSEN cleaning pig is send through the pipeline, removing dirt from the inside of the pipe wall as well as collecting excess particles and debris. Once the lines are clean, a specialized inspection tool is inserted to the transmission network. The ROSEN tool carries multiple technologies i. e. it is equipped with Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL) technology and can identify the smallest defects or deviations of the pipe wall. After the inspection, all collected data is downloaded from the inspection tool and sent to the operating units of the ROSEN Group. Within our expert teams, the data is analyzed and a reliable report is produced, to inform our customers about the integrity of their industrial assets.
