The ROSEN Group's dedicated team of solutions engineers from the Challenging Pipeline Diagnostics team represented the Group at the Forum with booth presence as well as a technical paper.
The team also presented their tool box approach of finding customized solutions for any unpiggable pipeline and explained, in detail, the approaches taken to ensure the safety of pipeline networks. Many customers, and customers to be, have approached ROSEN with their specific challenges and were able to receive tailored information in regards to solution options that could be provided.
Stefan Vages, ROSEN Group, Solution Officer Challenging Pipeline Diagnostics, presented a paper addressing the self-propelled inspection of challenging pipelines. In his presentation, he spoke about the application of the Multi-Trotter Crawler (MTC) and its developments. He also offered insight into some of the trends of the inspection industry. Vages mentioned that as technologies grow and become more advanced, the percentage of 'unpiggable' pipelines will continually sink.
To conclude his presentation he asked the audience to start a dialogue around working together to make the unpiggable piggable. He asked all members of the industry, operators, consultants and service providers to work together in further developing technologies.
