The ROSEN Group proudly hosted one day of the Southern Gas Association’s (SGA) Advanced In-Line Inspection Workshop in Gahanna, Ohio.
On Wednesday, May 25th 2016, attendees participated in the workshop that provided the knowledge to establish and manage an intelligent in-line inspection program in order to contribute optimal value towards enhanced pipeline integrity. The workshop was provided to both operations and maintenance engineers in multiple pipeline companies.
During the workshop, Tom Bubenik of DNV GL in Dublin, Ohio, presented a Pipeline Defect Analysis and Growth Prediction to the attendees. During which, he expanded on points such as the fundamental reasons why we need to consider repair to restore performance and strain analysis of dents.
Topics presented by ROSEN included:
- Advanced In-Line Inspection Technique for Linear Threats,
Thomas Beuker from the ROSEN Technology and Research Center in Lingen (Germany) - Added Value Assessment for Linear Threats,
Michael Palmer from the ROSEN Group in Newcastle (UK) - A Demonstration of In-the-Ditch Verification Techniques,
