ROSEN Asia Pacific donated computers and monitors to Sekolah Kebangsaan Labohan Dagang in Banting, Selangor, to support nationally recognized online teaching and learning programs through the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) 1BestariNet.

The laptops and other computer equipment, valued at more than RM 25,000.00, help to support the national 1BestariNet program, which connects all schools in Malaysia on a single platform.

Held at SK Labohan Dagang, the handover ceremony was well-received by the more than 250 Level 2 pupils in the school.

During the ceremony, the vice president of ROSEN Asia Pacific, Mr. Floris Verhagen, said, “For the last 25 years of our establishment in Malaysia, we have been very keen to see the development of our young generation in education. We want to encourage and support the teaching and learning process through VLE; therefore, we hope that this effort helps students to excel in the upcoming year.”

Mr. Hamizi B. Mohamad, senior assistant headmaster of SK Labohan Dagang, thanked ROSEN Asia Pacific for the generous contribution. He added, “ROSEN’s support will further enable the students to learn better, to search, to gain information and knowledge, and to instill interest in those respective areas. The knowledge will broaden their discipline and character in and outside the classroom.”
