Faced with assessing difficult defects such as complex corrosion or combinations of dents and corrosion more data is always better. Combined technologies improve probability of detection (POD), probability of identification (POI), probability of sizing (POS), and last but not least the fitness-for-service assessment that relies on understanding the nature and cause of the defect.
It is our goal to deliver solutions that enable a complete understanding of integrity status. We cannot accept technological limits. There is always more that can be done. Combining multiple individually strong technologies allows us to go beyond their limits. The true benefits don’t lie within the data collection, but rather the combination of the data sets when analyzing and assessing features. Plus, why do two runs when you can do one with multiple technologies?
