We are proud to announce that we will be participating in the virtual edition of the Rio Pipeline Conference & Exhibition from November 9 to 11, 2021.
During the conference, we will highlight a series of pipeline integrity solutions that enable operators to gain the knowledge needed to make the best-informed decisions.

Rio Pipeline is the meeting point of the international pipeline community, characterized by an important technical content, networking and business environment. The event offers a qualified debate on improving the efficiency, quality and safety of pipeline transportation. Learn more about the Rio Pipeline here.

At the conference, Dr. Phil Hopkins will interview Hermann Rosen, President of the ROSEN Group, in a “CEO Talk” about the company’s development to date and his visions for the future. In addition, topics such as the developments and changes in the oil and gas industry, lessons learnt from the pandemic, and changes in the in-line inspection industry will be discussed. Furthermore, we will participate in two discussions on “Integrity Assessment Technologies” and “New Technologies and Applications/Virtual Realities.” Learn more about our participation here.

As ROSEN strives to enable asset operators to make the best possible integrity management decisions, we will also highlight a series of pipeline integrity solutions during the Rio Pipeline Conference & Exhibition including:

  • Offshore – Performing in the offshore arena means performing under extreme conditions. This applies to the people that work on platforms and vessels as well as to the assets themselves. Operating 24/7 in remote locations under harsh conditions takes its toll on both people and equipment. Therefore, experts and technologies are needed that not only meet, but exceed the challenges they face. Learn more: Offshore Asset Care

  • Pipeline Integrity Framework for Cracking – Cracks threaten pipeline integrity. But not all cracks are the same. Many different forms of cracking, as well as different crack locations, pose risk to a pipeline’s efficiency and safety. ROSEN’s Pipeline Integrity Framework for Cracking outlines all the key elements needed to develop a comprehensive and justifiable crack assessment and mitigation program. The framework guides operators through the entire process from inspection to integrity, ultimately resulting in a proper threat management plan. Learn more: Pipeline Crack Detection & Assessment

  • Applications for Low Pressure Pipelines – Gas pipelines have a variety of factors, such as certain operating conditions, that can contribute to poor inspection run behavior, resulting in low data quality and requiring tailored inspection solutions. A dominant challenge in low pressure pipelines, among many other obstacles, is to overcome speed excursions during inspection. Though the factors that contribute to speed excursions, such as excessive girth welds, bends, dents, etc., exist in most pipelines, the effects are increased in a low pressure environment. We look forward to seeing you online at the Rio Pipeline in November!
