Your organisation is invited to choose three of the following six workshop topics.
1. Effective Corrosion Control in Offshore Pipelines
Developing and optimising corrosion management systems for upstream production pipelines, highlighting the organisational and technical challenges and the importance of operational pigging.
2. Risk Management in the Offshore Industry
An overview of risk management methodologies and practices for upstream production assets and the benefits of a systematic approach.
3. Asset Design Life Extension
Technical approaches including identification of credible threats, fitness-for-service (FFS) assessment and working with industry code guidance to support continued operation beyond the original design life up to cessation of production (COP).
4. Managing Ageing Flexible Risers
Methodologies and advanced analysis techniques for reliable estimation of remnant asset life and design-life extension studies for unbonded flexible risers.
5. Pigging Solutions for Operationally Challenging Pipelines
Developing pigging strategies for unpiggable or difficult-to-pig pipelines. How to approach a project, including threat assessment, weighing of technical risks, operational controls for pigging and general project planning.
6. Enhancements in Corrosion Growth Rate Prediction Based on Repeat In-Line Inspection (ILI) Pig Data
Advancements in in-line inspection tools and data analysis techniques and how these deliver more reliable corrosion growth rates to support the integrity management processes, thus aiding timely scheduling of mitigation activities, calculation of re-inspection intervals and reliable estimation of pipeline remnant life.
Four sessions are available on 14 and 15 June to schedule your half-day workshop. After the workshop, we invite you to join us for refreshments and explore our mini exhibition.
