ROSEN Group in Lingen (Ems) organizes apprenticeship fair "ROSEN Talent Day" for young professionals in the region
The popular ‘ROSEN Talent Day’ took place at the ROSEN Group in Lingen (Ems), Germany, on June 5, 2025. For the sixth time, the international technology company opened its doors to young people from the region to inform them about a wide range of apprenticeships and dual study programs. A total of around 40 young talents took part in the apprenticeship fair.
As in previous years, participants were able to customize their program at the ROSEN Talent Day 2025 and gain practical insights into various professional fields such as business administration, IT, software programming, electrical engineering, 3D design and metalworking in various introductory courses. A general career orientation course was also available for those who were undecided. In the workshops, which lasted up to 90 minutes, the young talents gained their own practical experience and asked the trainers and apprentices numerous questions.
"I recently had a career orientation session at school that also featured ROSEN. I found it very interesting and asked whether I could visit the company. That's how I found out about the Talent Day and that's why I'm here today. I had a look at the electrical engineering department and soldered a cube there," says Damian Gellrich from Schulzentrum Lohne, talking enthusiastically about his experience at the ROSEN Talent Day. "I think the day here today was very cool and I can imagine doing an apprenticeship in electrical engineering at ROSEN later on."
"The introductory courses are a key element of the ROSEN Talent Day for us," explains Natalie Niemann from the HR department. "They enable young people not only to find out about different professions in theory, but also to actively try them out. In a protected environment, they can gain their first practical experience, ask questions and find out what really suits them – or what doesn't. This self-awareness is incredibly valuable for career guidance. Many participants discover talents and interests that they were previously unaware of. That is precisely our goal: to give young people real insights and support them on their way into the professional world."
In addition to the workshops, a supporting program with iced tea, coffee, cake, an ice cream van and a gaming zone offered plenty of opportunities to exchange ideas and relax. Once again this year, the information stands in the Innovation Center were particularly popular, where the skilled workers of tomorrow gathered information in numerous discussions on the topics of technical product design, factory/metal processing, electrical engineering and warehouse logistics. The advice provided by the HR department on topics such as job applications and interviews was also met with great interest by the young people. Accompanying persons were able to take a look behind the scenes at the ROSEN Group during a guided tour of the production areas.
