We have a longstanding commitment to the promotion of young talent — children and adolescents that demonstrate extraordinary personal and professional performance. Out of this commitment, we invest in education with the intention of developing the scientists and engineers of the future. We are committed to establishing interest in science at all levels of education among young people, and to leading science workshops in the communities.
We are proud to support educational initiatives at all levels in various countries around the world. We participate in various scholarship programs, thereby offering financial and moral support to especially talented students. We see this as an opportunity to establish new contacts with young talent early, and enable the students to interact and cooperate with us, which gives them an insight into the practical application of their studies.
Particularly at our site in Lingen, Germany, we promote students of all disciplines, i.e. from the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences, by participating in the “EmslandStipendium”. Furthermore, since 1995 we have awarded the annual “Deutschlandstipendium” and grant the promotional award for outstanding final examinations that go beyond the state of current research in the subject of physics at the Osnabrück University. Our own scholarship, the “ROSEN scholarship”, has been granted in different locations since August 2015. It addresses extraordinarily talented, dedicated and creative (future) students, whether they have just passed their abitur (German higher education entrance qualification), or are ready to begin or already studying. These are all more than merely a sponsorship — students enjoy permanent contact to the company through mentorship, and are supported in searching for internships, student employee jobs, or bachelor as well as master theses. We also offer consulting on career entry as well as an interesting network to other students, graduates and experts.
Among many other projects, in 2010 and 2011, ROSEN provided the "Doble Ayuda" foundation necessary premises for the storage of food and commodities and ran a weekend course on mechanical maintenance for motorcyclists. The Doble Ayuda Foundation helps to construct and improve schools in rural areas of Argentina. Also ROSEN USA supports scholarship programs for the oil and gas professionals of tomorrow. For more than a decade we have partnered with the Pipeliners Association of Houston, an organization that has awarded millions of dollars in scholarships to deserving students.
