International Women's Day – #GiveToGain
Visibility. Voice. Vision.
Every year on March 8, International Women’s Day invites us to reflect on how equality fuels progress. The 2026 theme, “Give to Gain,” captures an essential truth: when we invest in women’s opportunity, visibility, and leadership, we strengthen our teams, our industries, and our collective future.
Women are contributing to major advances across science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Yet they remain underrepresented in many technical fields. Holding about a third of global research positions, less than 30% of the broader STEM workforce. This is not a lack of talent. It is a lack of visibility, access, and consistent recognition.
Why this matters for the Energy and Pipeline Sector
The energy, pipeline, and infrastructure industries are undergoing transformation while also facing a critical talent gap. At the same time, women remain underrepresented across most technical, operational, and leadership roles, often making up only 20–27% of the workforce depending on the segment.
These gaps influence more than representation. They affect innovation, decision-making, and long-term competitiveness. Research repeatedly shows that diverse teams outperform less diverse parties – making gender inclusion not only a social responsibility but a performance driver.
Why ROSEN is launching a dedicated platform
At ROSEN, technology and innovation are central to our work. That means our success depends on strong MINT talent. Women make essential contributions across engineering, materials science, data analytics, inspection technology, and field operations.
This space is our commitment to making those contributions visible. It will:
- Highlight achievements and expertise across our global teams.
- Strengthen equitable access to opportunity, leadership, and development.
- Support the broader energy talent pipeline through representation and storytelling.
- Provide continuity, serving as a long-term resource rather than a one-off campaign.
In other words, visibility here is both a recognition and an investment.
A long-term, evolving commitment
This space is designed to grow and adapt through the years. As our industry moves through digitalization, sustainability, and workforce renewal, supporting women in MINT roles becomes more than a values-based choice – it becomes an operational imperative.
By increasing representation, fostering belonging, and amplifying expertise, we help build a future where women’s contributions are recognized as a fundamental part of the success of our industry.
Together we invest.
Together we gain.
Together we are #empoweredbytechnology

One of the more unexpected and surprisingly rewarding parts of my journey as a MAC Project Manager has been developing and delivering training for colleagues. Stepping into a teaching role pushed me well outside my comfort zone, but it became a space of real learning, confidence, and growth. What I love most about my job is taking something deeply technical and turning it into something creative, engaging, and accessible. Every campaign is a reminder of how many people, perspectives, and moving pieces work together behind the scenes. Seeing those elements come to life while keeping everything aligned to a consistent and recognizable brand makes the work incredibly rewarding.
I have been part of the ROSEN Canada Social Responsibility Committee since its beginning. At first, we were hosting employee focus groups, to understand which causes mattered the most to our people. Six years later, it has been incredibly rewarding to see the committee grow into what it is today: organizing meaningful events, coordinating donation drives and potluck fundraisers that bring our office together in support of local charities. One of our proudest accomplishments has been the development and implementation of our Volunteer Program.

In 2022, I joined ROSEN Saudi Arabia as a Receptionist. As a Receptionist, the most rewarding part of my work is creating a welcoming and organized atmosphere for everyone who walks through our doors. I love being the first point of contact, helping colleagues and visitors feel supported, and knowing that my presence contributes to a positive, smooth-running office each day.
Organizing local events for my co-workers is another part of my role that I’m truly passionate about. Whether it’s Ramadan gatherings, National Day celebrations, engagement activities, or CSR events, bringing people together has helped our Dammam community grow closer.
Seeing colleagues connect, celebrate, and enjoy these moments makes every effort worthwhile – and it inspires me to keep creating opportunities that strengthen our workplace bonds.

As a Principal Data Analyst at ROSEN Middle East, what I find most rewarding is the balance between solving complex technical challenges and helping others grow. After more than 10 years in the Dubai office, I have had the chance to work across multiple technologies and projects, but what truly motivates me is mentoring and training our junior analysts. Seeing them develop confidence, sharpening their skills, and finding their own path in the field is one of the most fulfilling parts of my role.
Outside the office, I channel my energy into endurance sports and fitness, bringing the same discipline and resilience into everything I do. Consistently showing up, pushing limits, and striving for progress – whether in a race or at my desk – has shaped the way I contribute to my team and the wider community. That mindset helps me create meaningful impact, stay grounded, and inspire those around me both professionally and personally.

Empowering women in STEM is no trend. It is long overdue maintenance in a system that forgot half its users. Working today as an IT Service and Product Manager, I have learned that the most meaningful part of mastering complex technologies is not just the innovation itself, but passing on the spark that got me here. Women have always been brilliant at sharing energy, at lifting each other up, at turning their own progress into fuel for someone else’s momentum. If the statistics say there are too few women in STEM, then my mission is simple: change the statistics. Not just by succeeding in my own field, but by helping others find their path into it.
Anyone who loves to travel knows that the real magic isn’t just reaching a destination. It’s the shared journey, the laughs, the challenges, and the moments you didn’t plan but will never forget. During my travels, I have picked up a lot of new hobbies that were very challenging at first. When I got into skiing, I was nervous, stiff, and mostly thinking: Please let me survive this slope. The same happened with hiking: heights definitely are not my inherited superpower. But I learned to enjoy the journey instead of rushing to the finish. This mindset has empowered me greatly and I have realized that life, like traveling, is about embracing challenges, collecting memories, and sharing experiences with the people around me. Whether it’s carving down a mountain, hiking a trail, spotting the Big Five, or jumping into a spontaneous road trip. Across mountains, cities, and continents – empowered women don’t just break ceilings; we walk right over them. For me, this mindset didn’t come instantly, but now I am an absolute pro at convincing everyone around me to join in for the next adventure. Because the best stories aren’t just told at the top or at the bottom of the slope – they’re written all along the way.

I never expected that stepping into the workshop each day would shape me the way it has. What began as curiosity for how machines work has turned into a real sense of confidence and purpose. Throughout my apprenticeship as a Cutting Machine Operator, the trust placed in me by my supervisors and colleagues has pushed me to grow beyond what I imagined. Programming the machines has become one of the parts I enjoy most – it challenges my focus and understanding, yet it’s incredibly rewarding to watch a plan turn into a perfectly machined part. The constant variety in my tasks, from assembling tools to programming components and preparing machines, ensures that no two days ever feel the same and that learning never stops.
Outside of this engagement, I spend much of my free time outdoors. My passion for horses takes me into nature almost every day, giving me calm, balance, and a deep sense of well-being. Whether I’m helping out at the club or out riding through the countryside, these activities allow me to recharge, support others, and continue growing personally.

At ROSEN, my work as a Data Analyst has shown me that clarity often emerges from patterns sometimes in spreadsheets, sometimes in people. Mentorship and teamwork play a big role in how I contribute: from supporting new colleagues in building a sense of belonging and team spirit to encouraging participation in local events, or extracurricular activities such as the Young Pipeline Professionals Europe (YPPE), and conferences like PTC. Experiences such as co organizing Colors of Rosen with our Lingen colleagues. They all have strengthened my skills in planning and communication, while reminding me how valuable shared accountability and collaboration are. Being proactive, stepping up, and investing my time and energy have consistently brought meaningful growth and unexpected learning.
This year, I’m extending this passion for knowledge-sharing in a new direction: I’ll be teaching Korean at the Adult Education Center in Dresden. Language has always been a bridge for me – a way to connect cultures, perspectives, and stories – and I’m excited to create a space where others can experience that same spark. Moving between data, mentorship, and teaching feels natural, because all three are about helping people see something new, something meaningful, or something once thought impossible.

After completing my master’s degree in Drilling and Production Engineering at Clausthal University of Technology, I joined ROSEN in Radebeul, Germany, in May 2023 as a Data Analyst. I have now been working here for three years. My daily experience is highly fulfilling, particularly due to the strong communication with my colleagues and the quality moments we share through numerous social events. There’s truly nothing better than being part of such a positive work environment. I enjoy applying my expertise to ensure the integrity of pipelines through the analysis and visualization of complex pipeline data. An additional value I bring to my role is my passion for mentoring Junior Data Analysts, whom I supervise on assigned projects. It is genuinely a joy for me to support others in growing and excelling in their work.
Beyond professional commitments, I am also passionate about charitable initiatives. In Bamenda, Cameroon, my hometown, which is affected by ongoing conflict, I support local orphans through various forms of donation, thereby bringing smiles and hope back into their lives. I also dedicate my time to daily fitness, which consistently provides me with positive energy. My discipline, resilience, and relentless motivation for fitness have become a source of inspiration for those around me. Positively impacting lives by leading by example is a true source of personal fulfillment.
