Certified instruments for operation in explosive atmospheres
Equipment manufacturers have the obligation to ensure that their products never become a source of ignition when operated in hazardous environments. One method of achieving this goal is to avoid any possible contact between the explosive atmosphere and potential ignition sources within the equipment. Different guidelines apply to electrical and non-electrical devices. ROSEN equipment complies not only with the ATEX 114 guideline, but also with the POF (Pipeline Operators Forum) guidelines and is certified for operation in potentially explosive non-atmospheric conditions. In addition, ROSEN's production quality assurance is certified to EN ISO/IEC 80079-34:2020, which enables the manufacture and assembly of equipment with flameproof enclosures (Ex d), pressurized encapsulation bodies (EX p) and intrinsic safety (EX i).
